Back On Track: HUMAN PRODUCTS - Instructions for use.

Back on Track

  Ceramic fabric pain relief products

Instructions for use : Human products

All Back on Track products should be introduced gradually. During the initial 2-3 days, they should be applied for no more than a 4 hour period per day, to enable the body to adjust to the sensation that these products create.

The reason you should start with 4 hours, and no more, is that a small number of people experience pain when first using the product (due to increased blood flow). Any such pain can arise within an hour, or after several hours. If concerned by pain, remove the item for the remainder of the day, then re-introduce it at a more gradual rate over subsequent days.

Following the introduction period, application of these products should be increased to at least 8 hours, and certainly much longer if required. Ideally, you will notice a reduction of pain in tender muscles and sore joints within a few hours. Quite often though, you will need to persevere for 10 days to 20 days, particularly with established long-term injuries

As the ceramic fabric reflects more heat from our bodies when we are moving, these aids are most effective during our active daylight hours. Nonetheless, Back on Track products will still provide worthwhile benefits during periods of rest, even when asleep.

Although maximum benefit is derived from the ceramic fabric when placed in direct contact with the skin, a thin cotton garment may be worn in between if necessary.

Please note:   This product should not be used in conjunction with any other heat-inducing liniments or ointments.

 USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.

IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL.

WARNING:     Not to be used during pregnancy (because it is impossible to judge if the effect of a new product adds to the frequency of existing malformations).

 Washing Instructions

Back on Track products are machine washable up to 90°F or 30°C, using normal detergents that do not contain bleach. They should be air dried only. Please note: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, and do not tumble dry. If you wish to iron these products, do so at a maximum of 120°F or 50°C. As the ceramic powder is actually melded into the polyester/polypropylene threads, it will not separate when washed. The textile will however deteriorate with prolonged use.

Additional washing instructions for padded products such as the Mattress overlay, Mini blanket, and Pillow case): In addition to the above washing instructions, it is strongly advised to avoid the spin cycle if you choose to machine wash products that incorporate a padded filler (as the centrifugal force of the spin cycle can randomly reposition the padding material within each stitched compartment of this product).
